NISHAD X LIGHT IT UP FILMS

Purpose
To edit a clean, high-quality performance-led music video featuring National Award winner Shashaa Tirupati, Sreekanth Hariharan, and other acclaimed musicians, with music by Nishad. The film was created as part of a Grammy consideration campaign and was also featured in Billboard magazine.

Target Audience / Platform
Music fans, online audiences, fellow musicians, and those tracking award-nominated work. Released as a digital film across social platforms.

Strategy
We shaped the visual tone to match the song’s jazz-inspired groove—leaning into deep violets, warm lighting, black attire, and subtle hints of orange for contrast.

While some portions were shot by us, other footage came directly from the musicians, resulting in mixed source material. Our focus was on maintaining visual consistency through careful colour grading and pacing, keeping the overall look rooted in a classic, intimate jazz aesthetic.

Result
A focused, performance-driven music video that gives space for the music and the musicians to breathe—supporting the Grammy campaign with a refined visual identity. A supporting poster was also created as part of the promotional push.
